What are Dermal Fillers? Dermal fillers are a soft, injectable gel consisting of Hyaluronic acid which is naturally occurring in the body and essential for maintaining skin firmness and elasticity as well as keeping the skin hydrated. Benefits of dermal fillers include; Adds volume to the skin Improve and increase skin elasticity Can remove lines and wrinkles Shapes, contours and adds volume to the face Corrects asymmetry Fillers naturally and gradually break down in the skin but can also be reversed/dissolved with Hyaluronidase.

Where can dermal fillers be used? We are able to use them in the lips, to create definition to the border and volume to the body of the lip. Nasolabial folds (Nose to mouth lines) Laughter lines Peri-oral lines (wrinkles of a smoker) Contour the cheeks and add volume. Contour and define the jawline. Enhance and define the chin.

How are they administered? We firstly apply a topical anaesthetic to the area you are having your fillers injected to help with comfort throughout the treatment. The filler is then injected into the desired area, and massaged with after care given to help you maintain your new natural, smooth and plump look.

How long do they last? Dermal fillers will normally last between 4-12 months dependent on various factors such as lifestyle; metabolism, exercise and smoking. Each person is different and these factors must be considered as to longevity of the product.
